Das Frühstück ist dürftig, geht aber für den Preis in Ordnung. Die Besitzer sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Für Paare, die wenig Geld ausgeben wollen, dennoch aber ein eigenes Zimmer mit privatem Bad möchten, ist das Gringo‘s House absolut empfehlenswert.Verified Excellent stay We stayed here for about 5 nights and had a great time. Room was very clean and the family running the place is very attentive and friendly. They let us keep our bags here for 4 days while we did the Inca trail. Breakfast is also delicious! With fresh fruit, avocado, yogurt, etc. I’d highly recommend this place. It is a decent walk from the center (20 mins) but it is safe and allows you to actually see the local life rather than the touristy city center. There are also lots of cheap local restaurants nearby! Great for travellers on a budget!Verified Great Value Stay We found this place on booking and it was much cheaper than anything closer to the center. So we took a gamble and it paid off. Its only about 20 minutes to walk to the center, and the walk felt safe. There are restaurants just up the street if you need a place to eat. The breakfast was quite good. Our room was spacious and while it was facing the street, it didn't bother us much. My only grievance would be the shower in the bathroom, which was a problem thoughout South America (the shower curtain didn't reach the ground). But the water was warm. They don't really have anywhere to cook, and if you wanted your water bottle filled (which I doubt most people do), you have to ask them (but they will give you boiled water if you want). They helped us book a full day tour of the Sacred Valley (in spanish) which was actually quite good. They will also get taxis for you and help you negotiate the price beforehand. If you want to watch the tv, don't hesitate to ask for the cable box. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay here (we spent 5 nights). They even stored our luggage while we did the Salkantay Trek. P.S. The name of the place is a bit misleading, it's a local family that runs it, which is preferred in my opinion.Verified Bonne adresse pour loger à Cusco Hôtes très arrangeants et accueillants. We booked our room here throughout our stay in Cusco and we were super happy about it. It's a family business, the owner is incredibly friendly, very helpful and such a lovely person as well as the rest of his family. They kept our luggages safe for a couple of days after we checked out,washed our clothes quickly as we were in real hurry, made tea for us every night, booked cheap taxis and more. I would highly recommend this place for young friendly couples who are looking for cheap accommodation and an outstanding customer service.Verified Good value for money The location is a 15-20 Mins. walk away from the main attractions of Cusco! The owners are very nice and helpful! The place is in general basic but provides a decent value for money ratio! Go here if you look for a place that is cheap and if it does not bother you when you have to walk a bit to the city centre!
